Terms of Service

1. Accepting these terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of Korumiapay, operated by Korumiapay LLC. By creating an account, taking a payment, or using the dashboard or API, you agree to these terms. We've tried to write them in plain language — if anything is unclear, just ask.

2. Who can use Korumiapay

Korumiapay is for businesses and independents, not consumers. You must represent a business or be a sole trader in a place where Korumiapay operates, be old enough to enter a contract, and have the authority to accept these terms on behalf of your business.

3. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login details and API keys safe. A few sensible habits:

• Keep your live API keys out of your public code.
• Turn on two-factor authentication for everyone on your team.
• Tell us promptly if you think an account has been compromised.

4. Fair use

You may not use Korumiapay to sell prohibited goods or services — including weapons, illegal drugs, counterfeit goods and the full list kept at /legal/acceptable-use. If we see a clear breach, we'll let you know and may pause your account while we sort it out.

5. What Korumiapay provides

Korumiapay provides a hosted checkout, payment processing, payouts, refunds, subscriptions, invoicing, fraud protection and reporting. The exact features available to you depend on your plan and the details in your order form.

6. Fees

Our fees are the rate per sale shown on your plan, plus any add-ons you switch on. The fee is deducted from each payment up front, so what reaches your payout is your sale minus that clearly stated fee. There's no monthly charge, setup fee or minimum unless your order form says otherwise.

7. Payouts & refunds

We pay your takings to your nominated bank account on your chosen schedule. You can refund any payment, in full or part, from the dashboard or API. You're responsible for the goods and services you sell and for honouring your own refund policy with your customers.

8. Your data

Our Data Processing Addendum forms part of these terms. We process personal data in line with our Privacy Policy, and your customers' data belongs to you, not us.

9. Liability

We'll provide the service with reasonable skill and care, as described in our documentation. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is capped at the fees you paid us in the previous 12 months. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

10. Leaving Korumiapay

There's no lock-in. You can close your account at any time. Either of us can end the agreement for a serious breach that isn't fixed within 30 days. When you leave, we'll help you export your customers and payment history in a clean format, free of charge, for 90 days.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Wyoming, USA. Any disputes go to the courts of Natrona County, Wyoming — without affecting any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you are.
