Merchant Agreement
1. The agreement
This Merchant Agreement sits alongside our Terms of Service and sets out the commercial terms on which Korumiapay LLC processes payments for your business. Where your signed order form differs from this page, the order form wins.
2. Becoming a merchant
Before you take live payments, we verify your business and the person setting it up, as our card-network and regulatory partners require. You agree to give accurate information and to keep it up to date, including a change of ownership, bank account or line of business.
3. Processing payments
We process payments from your customers through our acquiring partners and the card networks. You agree to follow the network rules that apply to you — they're summarised in plain language in your dashboard, so you don't have to read the originals cover to cover.
4. Settlement & payouts
Captured payments, less our fee and any refunds or chargebacks, are settled to your nominated bank account on your chosen schedule — daily by default, or instantly on eligible plans. You can see every scheduled payout in the dashboard before it lands.
5. Refunds & chargebacks
You can refund any payment in full or part. If a customer disputes a payment with their bank, we'll gather the evidence and respond on your behalf, and keep you posted in plain language. Disputed amounts and any network fees may be debited from your balance while a case is open.
6. Fees & invoicing
Our fee per sale is deducted from each payment as it's processed. Any add-on fees are billed monthly and itemised clearly. We don't charge a monthly minimum, a setup fee or a cancellation fee unless your order form expressly says so — and we'll never add a fee you haven't seen first.
7. Reserves
For most shops there is no reserve. In the rare case where a higher-risk profile requires one, we'll tell you the amount and the reason up front, in writing, before it applies — never as a silent surprise on your statement.
8. Compliance
You agree not to use Korumiapay for prohibited or illegal activity, to keep your business details current, and to cooperate with reasonable checks our partners require. We agree to keep our PCI, SOC 2 and other certifications current so the heavy compliance lifting stays with us.
9. Term & termination
The agreement runs for as long as your account is open. Either of us can end it with notice, and either of us can end it sooner for a serious, uncured breach. On exit, we'll settle your remaining balance once any open disputes have cleared, and help you export your data.
